Map Areas Guide

Reading the map like a thief

Steal From The Rich! spreads wealth across themed districts. Each step farther from the safe zone asks for more Speed, better trails, and cleaner escape habits. This walkthrough orders the major areas players encounter, explains what kind of crates to expect, and tells you when to retreat to the treadmill instead of forcing a bad route.

Prerequisite reading: Getting Started for the loop, Treadmill & Trails for movement math, and the Items Tier List for which pulls deserve a permanent pad.

Exact unlock thresholds are Speed-based rather than quest-gated. If you are dying on entry, you are early — not unlucky.

Celebrity

Your tutorial district. Learn crate interact (E), practice returning to base without panic, and fund the ~$5k Green trail. Place every decent $/s drop. Do not linger here for hours once Pirate is comfortable; Celebrity exists to teach the loop, not to be a forever farm.

Pirate

First zone where weak Speed feels obvious. Expect contested spawns in busy 7-player lobbies. Use Pirate to test whether your trail upgrade actually changed clear time. Bank early duplicates for future fuses while you still care about low Cash fees (Fuse Machine).

Museum

Tighter presentation: bags, exhibits, and “do not touch” energy. Routes can involve more camera awareness around props. Good mid-game Cash. If museum security or pathing shreds you, train — do not buy decorative base items as a coping mechanism.

Mafia

Headline jackpots live here for many creators — including Mafia car pulls that instantly jump to the top of a mid-game collection. Heavier crates and more contestants. Arrive with a plan: in, grab, out, place. Lingering to emote on someone else’s failed steal is how you lose your own.

Watch the embedded mid-article video for a Mafia-focused run, then compare the creator’s trail timing to yours.

Gold

Legendary gold chest fantasy. Cash spikes fund Golden → Mythic Red transitions. Bring inventory discipline: Gold duplicates are excellent fuse food if you already display a strong unmutated copy.

Astronaut / Alien

Sci-fi crates and uncanny alien chests. Night cycles matter more for some players here — visibility and pressure change when the sky goes dark. If night ruins your success rate, run the zone during preferred lighting or raise Speed until night becomes irrelevant.

Treat Alien-area loot as both display candidates and mutation candidates; do not confuse area branding with the Fuse Machine’s Alien mutation (the 1% roll can apply to non-alien items too).

Demon King

Late fantasy zone with standout treasures such as Banner of Evil Kings and Mythic Totem Flame (community runs cite multi‑tens-of-millions value tags). You will see other players attempting ego steals without Mythic Red–level prep — do not copy them. Extract one great crate > die five times for clips.

Angelic Space

Added in a major content drop after the earlier ladder. Celestial / angelic framing, endgame crate tables, and a hard Speed expectation. Read the dedicated Angelic Space guide plus Updates when Lucky Finders tunes this wing. If you cannot clear Demon King reliably, Angelic Space will feel unfinished on purpose.

Security, heavy crates, and night

Security / pressure: Later districts punish slow approaches. Upgrade trails before “git gud” speeches. Body-blocking in 7-player servers happens; hop lobbies if a squad camps your lane (Players).

Heavy crates: High-value targets take longer to secure and attract races. Call your own timing — if two players commit, the better trail usually wins. Have a secondary crate picked before you commit so a lost race is not a wasted trip.

Night: Some routes feel worse after dark (navigation, timing, spawn pressure). Fuse Machine still works at night, so hub chores remain valid. Field steals are optional until you are ready.

Route planning template

  1. Check Speed and equipped trail.
  2. Pick the highest area with ~70%+ historical success for you.
  3. Plan entrance → primary crate → optional secondary → exit.
  4. On return: place best $/s, bank fuse triples, sell junk, buy Speed.
  5. Only then attempt the next district “for content.”

Mid-guide video

The gameplay video below shows multi-area progression and a Mafia spotlight. Use it to visualize distances and crate density — then buy the Speed the creator already had instead of copying late-zone attempts on a fresh account.

Clear districts in order, spend Cash on movement, and treat each new skyline as a Speed check. The map is not a checklist to tap — it is a ladder, and every broken rung is a treadmill session you skipped.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is the area order in Steal From The Rich?

Common progression runs Celebrity → Pirate → Museum → Mafia → Gold → Astronaut/Alien → Demon King → Angelic Space, gated mainly by Speed.

When should I try the Mafia area?

After you clear Museum routes consistently and own a mid-tier trail. Mafia cars are great — dying on repeat is not.

Does night stop me from stealing?

No, but some late routes feel harder at night. Hub systems like the Fuse Machine still work; field runs are optional until your Speed is ready.

What drops in Demon King?

High-end treasures highlighted in community runs include Banner of Evil Kings and Mythic Totem Flame. Confirm live tooltips after patches.

What is Angelic Space?

A later update area beyond the earlier ladder. Treat it as endgame content that expects serious trail and treadmill investment.

Why do I keep failing new zones?

Almost always insufficient Speed or trail. Train, buy the next breakpoint, then return. See the Treadmill & Trails guide.
